How can I get new software on my University computer?

NOTE:  These instructions may not work for computers in College of Engineering. Contact OneIT for assistance.

  1. Follow the steps below to install new software.  
  2. If the software you're looking for is not available in Software Center/Company Portal or Self Service, contact the Service Desk.

  1. Log into your University computer using your NinerNET credentials
  2. Click the Start button
  3. Type Software Center, or Company Portal if you received a new computer after April 2025
  4. As you type, Software Center will be found - click Software Center or Company Portal depending on your search in step 3
  5. Select the application you want to install and click the Install button
  6. Follow the steps prompted until installation is complete
  1. Log into your University computer using your NinerNET credentials
  2. Under Applications, locate Self Service (or search for Self Service)
  3. Open Self Service
  4. Select the application you want to install and click the Install button
  5. Follow the steps prompted until installation is complete
