Denodo is UNC Charlotte's central gateway to campus data. Using data virtualization, it brings together institutional data from databases, cloud services, and other university systems through a single, secure connection, with security and access managed in one place. Depending on the source, Denodo pulls data either live when you query it or on a schedule. Faculty and staff with approved access use Denodo to query and report on UNC Charlotte data from DBeaver, Tableau, and other tools that can be configured to connect through JDBC or ODBC. WebFOCUS reports also use Denodo data through a service account, so WebFOCUS users do not need their own Denodo access.
