- Traditional: When a caller is placed on Hold, only the person who put someone on hold can resume the call.
- Shared Lines: When a caller is Parked, any person with access to that same shared line can resume the call using a 3-digit retrieval code.
- Note: The call Park feature only works on YeaLink physical phones at this time.
Traditional: To place a caller on a traditional Hold:
- Select the Hold button from the call options in the Zoom application.
- Or, from a physical phone, press the button under the Hold option on your physical Cisco phone's display.
- Resume the call when you are ready.
Shared Lines: To Park a caller so that someone else on your shared line can pick up the call:

- Select the Park button from the call options in the Zoom application.
- Or, from a physical phone, press the button for the more option (...) and then press the button for the Park option on your physical Cisco phone's display.
- You will see a notification with the 3-digit retrieval code (preceded by *).
- The call will be parked and the caller will be placed on hold.
- Take note of the 3-digit retrieval code and send it to the phone user who will answer the parked call.
Shared Lines: To retrieve a Parked call:
- Select the shared line as your caller ID.
- Dial * followed by the 3-digit retrieval code and press the call button.
- For example if the retrieval code is 123, dial *123 and press the call button.
- You will be placed on the call with the caller.
