How Do I Install AwareManager on a University-Owned PC?

The following steps will allow you to install AwareManager on your university-owned Windows PC. For installation instructions on a Mac, please see How Do I Install Aware Manager on a University-Owned Mac?.

1. Navigate to https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp in order to download Java. Run the Java installer, and proceed to step 2. You will not be able to install AwareManager without Java on your machine.
    
2. Once Java has been installed, navigate to https://uncc.amjxt.com/ to download the AMJXTInstaller.jar file.
    
3. Run the AMJXTInstaller.jar, and you will be prompted to begin installing the software.
   
   
    
4. When prompted to choose a location for installation, you may use the default path (i.e. C:/AMJXT). This will create the folder AMJXT in the root folder.
   
   
    
5. Click next to finish, and when you click next again, you will be prompted about shortcut creation. You may check the box to have shortcuts created in the Start Menu and on the desktop, but leave the "Launch on startup" box unchecked.
   
   
    
6. Hit Next, and the installation will be done.
